The key point of workplace design is creating an office that is fit for its purpose. A great work space takes into account not just what employees need to work in the right way and get the best results in their particular roles, but also what staff need to be happy and motivated at work.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely right, those are very important for good work place in order to keep your staff stress free. But what about physical Helth?
ReplyDeleteI thinks now most of corporates are considering physical health of employees is also important. So they have providing gym facilities for their staff.
When we talk about working environment it includes, the surrounding, the culture of the company, the design, the flexibility, the facilities and the people in it. It is the responsible of employers to create a positive and suitable environment to employees to work happily and uninterrupted, even though if an employee is motivated so much sometimes it will be difficult to fit into the work environment of the company. In most organizations the employee turnover ratio is high among the probationers since they can’t cope up or fit it into the environment of the company. People are from different backgrounds and their previous work experience would be different, it is important that employers create a suitable work environment for employees to perform well and achieve organizational objectives.

ReplyDeleteThis is an interesting topic, work environment is important to an employee and poor working condition often lead to less desirable results. Also during my studies i learnt about Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) which analyses the scientific side to this story. And this is one of the core areas of green building concepts.
ReplyDeleteThe following website: National Center for Biotechnology Information, U.S. National Library of Medicine has a good read about this phenomenon analyzed in scientific context.
